Harry Fennell - MAD

A hypnotic and lust-filled folk fusion number from one of the most exciting voices coming out of the Irish folk scene. Minimal plucked guitars and intimate lead vocals start the track off, eventually building to a crescendo of strings and powerful drums. The refrain is such an earworm on this one, and the vocal melody really does portray that feeling of love-fuelled madness well. The instrumentation descending into controlled chaos is also a nice touch at the end. A stellar track that I’ll have on repeat for the foreseeable future.
